I have spent hundreds of hours on the ground in Orange County and the Inland Empire, listening to folks who are deeply concerned about my opponent Young Kim’s alignment with the MAGA agenda.
She refuses to hold a town hall or even look her constituents in the eye. It is unacceptable, and it is why I am committing to holding town halls where I can hear directly from the community. I have just held my first virtual town hall, and I have held open, public meetings across the district.
Her inaction is especially abhorrent after she broke her promise to CA-40 and voted to gut $880 BILLION from Medicaid and billions more from food assistance that working families rely on.
But, the truth is that the national GOP is not about to let this seat go easily. We have already seen attacks and outside spending in this race, and it will only worsen the closer we move to Election Day.
That is what makes benchmarks like this one so critical. Unlike others in this race, I cannot self-fund my campaign or rely on ultra-wealthy donors. This movement is built from the ground up with supporters like you chipping in a few dollars when they can.
