Hello there,

Do you remember when Donald Trump said AAPI journalist Weijia Jiang should “ask China” about his failed response to the pandemic?

Well now, Weijia Jiang has witnessed another stunning example of xenophobic hate from the president -- and she wants to make sure the world takes notice.

[A tweet from @weijia reads “UPDATE: At his rally in Tulsa just now, President Trump referred to #Coronavirus as the ‘Kung-Flu.’” Weijia’s tweet is in response to an earlier tweet of hers, where she recorded use of the term by a White House official.]

Weijia’s shock and disgust is ours, too. Trump’s repeated racist language surrounding the virus has fanned the flames of violence against the AAPI community, and his failure to effectively address this pandemic hurts people of color everywhere.

But his race-baiting performance seems only to delight his supporters -- which is why we need to issue an unequivocal condemnation of his casual bigotry. Do you think anti-AAPI racism is a joke like Trump does? Tell us:

Do you condemn Donald Trump?
