There’s no question about it, John:

Republicans are making life harder.

When I meet with folks across the district, they tell me how worried they are about the rising cost of living. Instead of working with Democrats to solve the affordability crisis, this administration would rather strip health care and food assistance away.

It’s the latest in a long string of deeply troubling decisions from this White House. My colleagues on the other side of the aisle are complicit – and it’s what makes next year’s midterm elections so consequential.

Last month, a Republican challenger entered this race with the full might of the GOP machine behind him. The Republican incumbent I defeated back in November, Mike Garcia, gave him his full endorsement.

I’m in Congress to deliver results for CA-27 and make our communities better – but the national GOP wants nothing more than to secure another two years of House control.
