A donor-advised fund is more than a financial tool—it's a powerful way to live your values. And it’s simpler than you might think.
A DAF is like your own charitable savings account created to support the causes you care about most. You can choose a sponsor (e.g., Fidelity Charitable, Schwab Charitable, Vanguard Charitable, or a community foundation) and contribute cash, stocks, cryptocurrency or other appreciated assets to your donor-advised fund and receive an immediate tax deduction. Your contributions are invested and can grow tax-free, expanding your potential impact.
Then, when you're ready, you recommend grants to your favorite nonprofits—including the IRC—whenever you choose. When you do, you're taking intentional action to protect and empower people who have been forced from their homes by persecution, conflict, and crisis.
