Team,
Abortion access is about being able to make your own choices about what is best for your own body, and the Democratic nominee for Virginia House of Delegates District 71 understands the importance of that personally.
When Jessica Anderson faced an unplanned pregnancy in college, Roe v. Wade protected her ability to make the decision that was right for her, a decision that shaped the course of her life and family. But unfortunately, that right is no longer guaranteed.
After the fall of Roe, Virginia is now the only state in the South that has not restricted access to abortion. Stories like Jessica’s can be heard across our country, and people in the South rely on Virginia to access this sometimes lifesaving care.
Jessica is running for Delegate because she is an everyday person who is passionate about advocating for the needs of her community. In November, Jessica is going head-to-head with Delegate Amanda Batten.
Batten, who voted NAY on the Reproductive Freedom Amendment in January, also said on her last campaign trail that a 15-week abortion ban proposed by Gov. Glenn Youngkin was a
“great place to start.”
Jessica knows that reproductive freedom is essential for ensuring that every individual has the power to make decisions about their own body and future. But to protect access, we must ensure Jessica wins in November so we can enshrine abortion rights in the state constitution.
This is a highly flippable seat, but Jessica needs your help to win. Will you rush $15 or whatever you can to help us elect more pro-choice candidates, including Jessica? We have no time to waste →
Together,
Team Roe Your Vote Virginia
