Kids Are Not Experiments
The Federal Trade Commission (FTC) has initiated an inquiry into the gender medicine industry, examining whether parents and the public were misled about the nature, risks, and permanence of so-called “gender-affirming care” for minors. This marks the first significant federal step toward scrutinizing medical practices that have, for years, been shielded by claims of “scientific consensus.”

For over a decade, medical institutions and activist groups have promoted puberty blockers, cross-sex hormones, and “gender transition” surgeries as necessary, even “life-saving,” treatments for children experiencing gender dysphoria. These procedures were often described as reversible, safe, and supported by evidence.

They lied. <[link removed]>

Puberty blockers, once marketed as a harmless “pause button,” are now associated with reduced bone density, impaired brain development, and mental health issues. Cross-sex hormones can cause permanent sterilization, cardiovascular risks, and lasting changes to the body. In addition to that, oftentimes experimental surgical procedures are performed on children, with emerging reports suggesting that a significant number of them later regret it <[link removed]>.

The FTC is now reviewing whether institutions deliberately downplayed these risks and exaggerated the benefits of the experimental nature of these “treatments.” In particular, it is examining whether emotionally charged language, such as claims that not pursuing medical intervention leads to suicide, was used to pressure parents into consenting to procedures without fully understanding the consequences.

Financial factors are also being scrutinized. Many of the doctors and clinics advocating for gender-affirming care are directly involved in providing the procedures and prescriptions themselves. Conflicts of interest and financial incentives contributed to the normalization of these corrupt and evil practices.

End the Green New Scam
For too long, radical climate activists have had a stranglehold on Washington, D.C. and every day Americans have suffered. Now, President Trump is cutting them out of the picture — and they are not happy about it.

A new EPA rule would repeal greenhouse gas emissions regulations for motor vehicles and engines that were based on the Obama-era “Endangerment Finding,” a cornerstone of the radical climate agenda. The Endangerment Finding, issued in 2009, claimed that carbon dioxide and other greenhouse gases pose an immediate and existential threat to human health. Simply put, this is not true and it never was.
The Endangerment Finding is likely the most impactful Obama-era power grab that you’ve never heard of. In short, it has been used as the basis for the draconian green mandates and environmental regulations that have wreaked havoc on the U.S. economy for nearly two decades. In just one instance, these regulations have been weaponized to squeeze gas powered and even hybrid cars <[link removed]> out of the market in order to achieve an overall net carbon emission reduction. Americans deserve better. Eliminating the Endangerment Finding would:

Make cars more affordable. Car manufacturers no longer have to make electric vehicles in order to meet emissions requirements. As of July 2025 <[link removed]>, electric vehicles were on average $8,000 more expensive than gas-powered cars.

Allow families to make more summer road trips. The average range of EVs is 170 miles shorter than the average range of a gas powered car, making long-distance traveling harder.

Hamper Chinese influence. The lithium and other rare earth metals needed for EV batteries are primarily sourced from our most dangerous political rival, Communist China. Additionally, 68% <[link removed]> or more of EV car batteries are produced by just six Communist Chinese Corporations.

Save Americans money. Repealing these regulations is expected to save Americans $54 billion <[link removed]> in costs annually through the repeal of all greenhouse gas standards




In addition to rescinding the Endangerment Finding, this proposed rule would also remove all existing regulations that require new motor vehicles to comply with emissions standards. This would be a massive win for consumers.

Cleaning Up Our Nation’s Capital
It’s no secret that Washington, D.C. has gone downhill in recent years, but to those outside of the beltway, the extent of the city’s problems is not widely known. From the drug-ridden homeless encampments at Union Station or the local small businesses subject to ransacking by criminal gangs, our nation’s capital is more of a national eyesore.

Thankfully, this week the Trump administration took action.

Over the past week, federal law enforcement cleaned up the streets of D.C. and began to restore order. Despite the hysteria from the left, this was done in conjunction with local police officers (who were thankful for the support). This is a critical first step towards fixing a much broader problem <[link removed]>.

How did we get here?

Like most major cities, the decline of our nation’s capital is the culmination of years of gross mismanagement by Democrat mayors and their leftist allies <[link removed]>. But D.C. is supposed to be different.

As a federal district, the District of Columbia is ultimately under the control of the federal government. This is yet another duty that Congress, and the federal government more broadly, has neglected. That’s why in recent years, Republicans (and a handful of Democrats) in Congress have sought <[link removed]> ways to reestablish law and order in D.C. — even floating the idea of fully repealing what’s known as D.C. Home Rule <[link removed]>.

For the sake of our national dignity, D.C. must be brought back from the brink. We are pleased to see that the Trump administration is taking this matter seriously.
The Big Beautiful Border Security
Border security is national security — but securing the border only goes so far. Even with daily border crossings at an all-time low thanks to the Trump administration’s reimplementation of sensible enforcement policies, there remains work to be done to undo the damage the Biden administration inflicted. The One Big Beautiful Bill recognizes this. Here’s how:

ICE, ICE Baby: OB3 provides a massive increase in Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) to better equip the Trump administration to carry out its mass deportation operations. So far, over 80,000 applicants have already applied to ICE. This infusion will allow ICE to not only clean up Biden’s mess, but to also enforce the law for the millions of deportable aliens who were residing here before the Biden administration. While the Trump administration is starting with the worst of the worst <[link removed]> deportable aliens, all illegal aliens should be deported to restore the rule of law, apply consequences, and prevent more illegal immigration.

Overdue Immigration Reform: In many cases, it costs U.S. citizens hundreds of dollars to simply file a case in court, and that is before hiring an attorney. Yet, asylum applications for illegal aliens had a $0 fee. Thanks to OB3, that is no longer the case. This is a critical step towards alleviating the backlog in immigration courts — having no fee encouraged aliens to file frivolous asylum applications, which resulted in an application backlog over 11,000,000 with an additional 3,000,000+ cases pending at DOJ.

Remittance Tax: Billions of dollars in remittances leave the U.S. without benefitting our economy — and much of this is based on unauthorized work by illegal aliens. That’s why OB3 created a remittance tax. In addition to remittances and letting illegal aliens work in violation of the law, the U.S. has continued to give significant foreign aid and direct investment in many of the same countries benefitting from U.S. remittances.
An Update on the Runaway Texas Lawmakers
As part of their special session, the Texas legislature was set to consider a redrawn congressional district map. The proposed map would fix inaccurately apportioned and unconstitutionally gerrymandered districts to ensure fair representation for millions of Texans. Yet, instead of showing up to work, 50 Democrats skipped town in an illegal attempt to derail the agenda.

Here’s how that plan worked out for them:
The Democrats participating in these shenanigans are facing serious consequences for their failed attempts to disrupt official business. Comically, they achieved practically nothing as Governor Abbott has just effectively reset the clock by calling another special session.

While Democrats continue to play games, here’s what the Texas Senate was up to in the meantime:

Senate Bill 7, by Rep. Middleton: Ensure women’s privacy in state-owned facilities and political subdivisions. Status: Passed the Senate.

Senate Bill 9, by Sen. Bettencourt: Requires a voter referendum to increase property taxes by more than 2.5%. Status: Passed the Senate.

Senate Bill 11, by Sen. Hughes: Ensures election laws do not go unenforced by allowing the Attorney General to step in if six months have passed with no proceedings on a case. Status: Passed the Senate.

Senate Bill 12, by Rep. Middleton: Bans Taxpayer-Funded Lobbying. Status: Passed the Senate.
