Governor Joe Lombardo just made it crystal clear where his loyalty lies — and it’s not with the people of Nevada.

Instead of standing up for our communities, Lombardo is bending the knee to Donald Trump’s dangerous, cruel mass deportation agenda. He’s deploying Nevada’s National Guard, our neighbors, our family members, to help ICE round up and tear apart immigrant families right here in our state.

The Nevada National Guard’s mission is to protect us in times of crisis, not to turn our neighborhoods into militarized zones for Trump’s political theater. Lombardo’s decision will devastate families, hurt small businesses, scare away tourists, and sow fear across our communities.

And why? To please Donald Trump. To prove he’s a loyal soldier in Trump’s war on immigrants, even if it means turning Nevadans against Nevadans.

This is not leadership. It’s cowardice. It’s betrayal. And it’s exactly why we need to organize, speak out, and build the power to hold Joe Lombardo and his far-right allies accountable.
