LNESC Ford Philanthropy Scholarship Opportunity Available Now

The LNESC National Office is pleased to announce the Ford Philanthropy
Scholarship is now available to qualified students!

The program is for two-year and four-year college students pursuing careers in
STEM fields connected to the automotive and mobility industries. It also assists
students participating in apprenticeship programs within these sectors. The
scholarships will cover a range of costs associated with cost of attendance
(COA), including tuition and fees, room and board, textbooks, supplies, and
equipment.

It aims to fund experiences crucial to developing Future of Work skills that help
students thrive in their studies and succeed after graduation.

What’s covered?

The Ford Philanthropy Scholarship can be used to cover a wide array of indirect
costs related to program completion, including:

* Tuition and Fees

* Room and Board

* Books, Supplies, and Equipment

* Building Career-Related Professional Skills

Rising sophomore and junior college and university students from underrepresented
communities, as well as those from Ford College Network schools who are
first-generation college students, will be eligible to receive scholarships of up
to $10,000.

What are the eligibility requirements?

* Must major in Computer Science, Data Science, Electrical Engineering,
Mechanical Engineering, or Software Engineering

* Must have a cumulative GPA of 3.5 or higher on a 4.0 scale

* Must attend an accredited college or university full-time in one of the
following colleges or universities found here [ [link removed] ] .

How do I apply?

The Ford Philanthropy Scholarship program is now open.

To apply, eligible students must submit the following:

* College transcript, including cumulative GPA

* One letter of recommendation

* Documentation of indirect cost associated with any of the following areas:

* Tuition and Fees

* Room and Board

* Books, Supplies, and Equipment

* Building Career-Related Professional Skills

The application deadline is October 15, 2025.
