As a former member of the Oregon State Legislature and as the Congresswoman from Oregon’s 5th District, my goal has always been to fight for Oregonians and make life better for our communities.

That’s why I’m excited to announce that the district is one step closer to receiving over $14 million across 15 community funded projects that I advocated for!

These projects are investments that are aimed to improve the quality of life for everyone in our community.

From improving local infrastructure, to helping families get the child care they need, to making our neighborhoods safer and more affordable, this funding will make a real difference for Oregonians.

Now, this funding has to be approved by the House and Senate, but I know that this is a step in the right direction for our community — and I’ll continue fighting to get these investments across the finish line.

I won’t give up in my fight to advocate for Oregonians and ensure our voices are being heard. I’m determined to push this funding forward and deliver positive change to our communities.
