Hi John,
Lauren here, Campaign Manager for Pramila for Congress.
One of the things I’ve learned in my time working on campaigns is that
fundraising slows down during the summer — and this year is no different!
There’s a lot of different reasons why that happens. Parents are busy with
kids out of school, families take vacations, and people want to enjoy the
warmth outside and away from their screens.
But despite the warm weather, we still have goals to meet!
Our campaign doesn’t stop during the summer, and funding everything from
the Resistance Lab and our back-to-school backpack supplies drive to our
year-round organizing program takes resources.
And since we’re currently tracking behind where we need to be at this
point in August, I’m coming to you for help.
[ [link removed] ]We’ve set a mid-month goal of raising $7,500 before tonight at
midnight. Will you pitch in $3 to help us hit that goal and
get through the summer fundraising slowdown?
