Sisters and Brothers,

We cannot rest while President Trump and his cronies work tirelessly to rig the 2026 election to ensure that they maintain their majority control of Congress. 

That is why I am asking you to join me this Saturday, Aug. 16, for a National Day of Action to fight the Trump Takeover, which is being led by our brothers and sisters at the Texas AFL-CIO. 

This fight may have started in Texas, but it won’t end there. Trump won’t stop until he’s gerrymandered every congressional seat that he can.

We can’t stand by and let Trump steal next year’s election by gerrymandering Texas, and possibly other states as well. We HAVE to fight back. This is not a partisan fight, this is about an existential threat to democracy itself. 

So please, turn out tomorrow and let’s show this Administration that we aren’t afraid of them and we won’t let them steal Congress. 

Because when we fight, we win.
