Read More SPEAKING AT SENATOR ERNST'S ENTREPRENEUR EXPO Tuesday at Senator Ernst’s Entrepreneur Expo in Ames, I spoke about how President Trump’s “One, Big, Beautiful Bill” benefits Iowa’s small businesses and manufacturers. This law will be jet fuel for our economy — powering growth up and down our main streets and in rural Iowa. With tax cuts for small businesses and provisions for domestic manufacturing, our economy will ignite! TEAM FEENSTRA AT THE HUMBOLDT COUNTY FARM BUREAU ANNUAL DINNER Monday night, our Regional Director — Jim — attended the Humboldt County Farm Bureau Annual Dinner at River Valley Orchards & Winery in Humboldt. Agriculture powers Iowa’s economy & keeps our rural communities vibrant. I’ll always be the strongest voice for our farmers & producers! WELCOMING EPA ADMINISTRATOR LEE ZELDIN TO IOWA On Tuesday, I had the chance to talk to EPA Administrator Lee Zeldin and thanked him for coming to Iowa. Under his leadership, we are cutting burdensome regulations that hurt our farmers, lowering prices at the pump, and investing in homegrown Iowa biofuels and our agricultural communities. TOURING MID-STATES IN NEVADA Also on Tuesday, I toured Mid-States in Nevada with Senator Ernst, Small Business Administrator Kelly Loeffler, EPA Administrator Lee Zeldin, and State Senator Kara Warme. The “One, Big, Beautiful Bill” will help Iowa businesses invest in their operations and grow our economy. IOWANS HELPING IOWANS Yesterday, our Director of Operations, Laura, and her mom volunteered with Meals on Wheels in their hometown of Rock Rapids — delivering food to seniors in need. It’s always great to see Iowans helping Iowans! TEAM FEENSTRA AT THE POCAHONTAS COUNTY FARM BUREAU ANNUAL DINNER On Wednesday, our Regional Director — Jim — attended the Pocahontas County Farm Bureau Annual Dinner at the Pocahontas Golf Club. Our farmers and producers make significant contributions to our economy and communities. I’ll always be a strong voice for Iowa agriculture! ONE LAST THING: PROTECTING THE SOCIAL SECURITY BENEFITS OF RESIDENTS OF THE IOWA VETERANS HOME IN MARSHALLTOWN I’m glad my office & I could work with the Social Security Administration to ensure residents at the Iowa Veterans Home in Marshalltown could make changes to their direct deposit preferences over the phone. This fix will make life easier for our veterans. Feenstra Helps Residents at Iowa Veterans Home Continue to Receive Social Security Benefits U.S. Rep. Randy Feenstra (R-Hull) announced that his office helped secure an agreement between the Iowa Veterans Home and the Social Security Administration office in Marshalltown, ensuring that residents at the Iowa Veterans Home could change their direct deposit preferences over the phone instead of visiting the office in person. That makes complete sense. After all, a strong economy means bigger paychecks, more jobs, and greater opportunities for families, farmers, workers, and businesses in Iowa and nationwide to thrive. Like my fellow Iowans and Americans, a strong economy where businesses can grow, farms can invest, and families can keep more of their hard-earned money is also a top priority for me. As the only member of Congress who serves on both the House Ways and Means Committee and the House Agriculture Committee, passing policies that power economic growth, protect agriculture, and support our main streets is what I came to Congress to do.
