For far too long, so-called leaders from the right have taken shots at our education system, undermining our children and their futures in the process.
They’ve come after the books our children read, the history they’re taught, and their ability to express themselves.
But San Diego schools have never been attacked this blatantly or targeted this directly by the Trump administration. This will impact every single one of our students.
These funds determine whether our students get after-school sports or summer school.
Whether or not their teachers are fully supported.
Whether or not their textbooks are updated.
Whether or not they get fed lunch at school.
Our children are our future. Thank you for standing with them.
