Quick update for you on the latest from my team.
Donald Trump broke the law — period.
This week we made our case in court that the Trump administration’s use of federalized California National Guard troops and Marines for civilian law enforcement in Los Angeles was a clear violation of federal law.
Our case was backed by facts and specifics — we mapped out precisely what Trump did and why it was illegal.
I asked the court to block the President from using the military for domestic law enforcement — and from maintaining a standing army in Southern California.
I look forward to getting a decision in the near future, and I’ll keep you posted every step of the way — but right now, I just want to take a second to thank you for all your support.
