We had a roundtable with local business leaders to discuss how pro-growth tax policies are helping North Texans
Irving, TX – We are already starting to hear success stories out of our 2025 North Texas Job Fair, a couple of examples below. Please share your experience with us; we would love to hear from you, whether you were an attendee or an employer.
The Arlington ISD team met with hundreds of strong candidates at the job fair, and even showed off their huge stack of resumes.
Topgolf shared that they were able to meet with over 5,000 job seekers, and are still open to connecting.
This is what it is all about: connecting North Texans with employers throughout our community!
Lisa Shimkat from the Small Business Administrationjoined us at the job fair to visit with many of the small businesses hiring across North Texas. We were able to speak with employers about the strong workforce we have here in North Texas.
I recently had the chance to meet with American Airlines CEO Robert Isom and members of the leadership team. American Airlines connects people around the world, but their headquarters is right here in Fort Worth. Glad to visit with the team and talk about the important role they play in keeping North Texas connected globally.
I joined the U.S. Chamber and the Grapevine Chamber for a roundtable discussion in Grapevine with local business leaders on the pro-growth business tax provisions in President Trump's One Big Beautiful Bill. Read more in my Work of the Week below.
It was great to meet with Malachi Hernandez from Ipelint, a Texas small business leading the way in artificial intelligence and machine learning for intellectual property analysis. Their innovative software is helping inventors, researchers, and businesses protect American IP and drive innovation.
I had the chance to meet with the Indoor Environments Association to discuss policies on radon gas – an invisible toxin linked to thousands of lung cancer deaths each year.
