Congress should be acting on:

  • Lowering the cost of housing so owning a home is within reach.

  • Making healthcare affordable for every family.

  • Putting money back in your pocket for groceries and utility bills.

  • Holding the GOP accountable for the decisions they make.
Instead, the GOP majority is prioritizing corrupt sweetheart deals for Donald Trump’s billionaire friends and compromising in ways that don’t serve you.

My team recently shared some clips from my work on the Appropriations committee. This is what holding them accountable looks like.

Accountability doesn’t start and end on Capitol Hill. It is happening nationwide, every day, as we organize and secure the resources to keep the pressure up.

I always call it like I see it. When Republicans pushed the Big Ugly Bill that gutted healthcare, cut food assistance, and handed billions to the wealthy, I said it plainly: “Budgets are moral documents — this is an immoral bill.”

From reckless tariffs, destructive spending cuts, and corrupt decisions — we have a Republican majority and administration that has no problem putting billionaires first and families last.
