In the United States, not all states offer the same quality of life. While every state has its own charm, some fall behind in areas like education, economy, safety, and overall liveability.
A new WalletHub study has ranked all 50 states from best to worst places to live, based on what it calls “key indicators of liveability.” These included:
- Housing costs and affordability
- Quality of public education and healthcare
- Overall quality of life
The analysis used data from reliable sources such as the US Census Bureau, Bureau of Labor Statistics, Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), and the Council for Community and Economic Research.
WalletHub looked at statistics like homeownership rate, unemployment rate, high school graduation rate, life expectancy, and average hours worked per week.
