As NVFS closes our fiscal year this coming week, I can’t help but reflect on the steadfast care and commitment of supporters like you who have helped our staff and our community during these challenging times. But the road ahead is uncertain, and your support is still very much needed.
Looking ahead to the next twelve months, where we go next will require your engagement and support. The cracks in our community’s systems and services were laid bare over the last few months, and we plan to be part of the repair team. This means more services for the community, more opportunities for volunteers to safely and meaningfully contribute their time, and more vocal protection of the vulnerable neighbors who are being left behind.
Just as we have for nearly 100 years, we stand ready to help move people from crisis to security, trauma to well-being, uncertainty to success. Your donations are integral to those efforts.
Earlier this week we re-launched our Immigrant Resiliency Fund, and we welcome your support. You can also give to our Family Hope Fund, which allows us to deliver your support where it is needed most in the organization.
We look forward to what we will accomplish together with you and our network of friends and supporters as we continue to make Northern Virginia the best place to work and live.
In gratitude,
