My name is Amanda Edwards, and I'm running for the U.S. House in Texas's 18th Congressional District. So for me, Republican gerrymandering is personal. 

Because right now in Texas, redistricting isn’t just some political chess game; it's about whose voices count. And Greg Abbott is working overtime to rewrite the rules in TX-18 before voters even cast a ballot. Communities that have long been the heart of TX-18 are being carved up for political gain.

I'm not here to play defense. I'm here to fight against this Republican scheme. That's why I am so honored to have EMILYs List by my side in this fight.
