Team — The Trump administration is still disrupting our city’s communities. Yesterday, the White House sent federal agents to try to intimidate elected officials at a press conference in Los Angeles.

There’s no other way to put it: this administration is trying to politically intimidate the second largest city in the country.

They are sowing fear and chaos with their illegal ICE raids. They are threatening to take us to the Supreme Court. Every action by the Trump administration is designed to stoke fear and take us one step further toward full-on authoritarianism.

But I have news for them: Los Angeles doesn’t get scared and Los Angeles doesn’t back down.

Our city has been through quite a lot recently, but the resilience of Los Angeles has been on full display through it all.
