My name is Devon Murphy-Anderson. I'm the Executive Director of the Maine Democratic Party.

I am also the proud daughter of a lobsterman. I am a proud Democrat. And most importantly, I am a proud Mainer who was born and raised in our amazing state.

Fishing families like mine, blueberry farmers and potato farmers, loggers and welders, and mill workers have long been the backbone of our state.

These are more than just jobs to us. These are our identities. Our lifestyle. Our family history that we want to carry forth for future generations.

And as Democrats, it is our responsibility to ensure that these communities — our communities — are strong, safe, and have the opportunity to thrive.
