John — This summer has been a busy one, and we’re not slowing down with only a few weeks left until we’re back in session.
I’d love to chat with you about what I’ve been up to this summer, but if you’re short on time today, I’d ask that you please consider making a contribution before the day is over.

Unsurprisingly, after Republicans passed the largest wealth transfer in U.S. history, Mike Johnson rushed members into summer recess despite bipartisan calls for leaders to release the Epstein files. As a member of the House Committee on Oversight, I voted in favor of a subpoena of the Epstein files because the American people deserve to know the truth.
But just because we’ve been on recess, doesn’t mean we’ve taken a break, John. It’s been an accountability summer, and our team was out across Arizona meeting with voters and letting them know exactly where their member of Congress stands.

Republicans in Arizona have shied away from hosting town halls and meeting with constituents, especially after voting yes on Trump’s disastrous budget; the people in those communities and districts deserve leaders who are willing to answer the tough questions.

I can’t do this work without the support of this strong team — if you’re able to make a contribution before the day is over, I’d be grateful for your support: secure.actblue.com/donate/ya-em-aug25
Thanks,
Yassamin
