John-
Every August, I watch my kids head out the door with their backpacks and new school supplies—and like every parent, I hope their day is filled with learning, laughter, and fun.
But I also carry something heavier: the gnawing worry about whether they'll come home safe.
That's the reality for parents across this country. Lockdown drills. Bulletproof backpacks. Teachers quietly learning how to barricade a classroom door. And the same politicians backed by the gun lobby refuse to act.
That's why I'm asking: Will you make a donation today to help the Everytown for Gun Safety Action Fund, Students Demand Action, and Moms Demand Action fight for the stronger gun laws and safety measures our kids deserve?
Working closely with our volunteers, I've witnessed firsthand how students across the country can push back and demand action. Together, we've passed life-saving gun safety laws and stopped dangerous bills in Congress and in state legislatures, and built a grassroots network in all 50 states and Washington, D.C.
But the threats remain real and immediate. As this school year begins, the gun lobby is pushing for laws that would make it easier to carry hidden, loaded guns in more public spaces—including near our children's schools. If we don't fight back, they'll only grow bolder.
We cannot afford another year of inaction. We have to protect our children now—before the next tragedy makes headlines.
John, make a donation to Everytown for Gun Safety Action Fund today to prevent gun violence and save lives wherever it is needed, including to fuel our grassroots organizing, hold lawmakers accountable, and keep fighting for a future where kids can focus on learning—not survival.
Thank you for being a part of the movement dedicated to ending gun violence.
