The Department of Veterans Affairs ripped up the union contracts of more than 400,000 VA workers across the country last week as part of the biggest act of union-busting in American history.

America’s brave veterans and the dedicated union members who work at the Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) are under attack. It’s time to stop the Trump administration’s assault on veterans’ health care and VA workers’ collective bargaining rights.

Send an email to Veterans Affairs Secretary Douglas Collins asking him to respect our veterans and keep his promises to VA workers by restoring these union members’ collective bargaining rights.

Since taking over the VA, Secretary Collins’ actions have directly contradicted the promises he made to Congress and the American people. Instead of being a champion for VA employees, he helped lead one of the most aggressive attacks on federal workers’ rights in modern history.

That’s not leadership. It’s a betrayal. You can’t say you respect VA workers while stripping away the rights that allow them to advocate for themselves and for the veterans they serve.

VA workers show up every day with one goal: to care for those who served. Many VA workers are veterans themselves. If you truly want to put veterans first, then stand with the people who serve them.
