JOHN,

There’s a lot of noise out there when it comes to Social Security.

Some say the only fix is to cut benefits. Others want to raise the retirement age. But here’s the truth: That’s not the only way, and it’s not the right way either.

If we do nothing, the Social Security trust fund will run out. But there is one, simple, and fair solution:

✅ Lift the income cap on the Social Security payroll tax so the ultra-wealthy pay their fair share. That’s it. That’s the fix.

Right now, billionaires stop paying into Social Security after their first $176,100 in income, while middle-class workers pay all year long. If we fix that loophole, we can fully fund Social Security without cutting a single benefit or raising the retirement age.

I’m not afraid to say it: We need to protect the promises made to working people, not make cuts to fund tax breaks for billionaires.

If you agree, here’s what you can do: chip in $ or anything you can today to power our campaign and protect Social Security for generations to come! [[link removed]]
