John,

The Texas House has been stalled.

While Democrats hide from their responsibilities, Gov. Greg Abbott has said he won’t stop calling them in until their job is done. The same goes for our coverage of the Texas Legislature.

As lawmakers end the first special session, the second has already been set with the same agenda: congressional redistricting, flood recovery, election integrity, and more.

The difference? Most Texans only hear bits and pieces of what’s going on … if they hear anything at all.

That’s where Texas Scorecard comes in.

While most outlets only tell partial stories and obscure the facts, we provide Texans like you with unapologetic, pro-citizen, pro-liberty reporting. We’re watching every committee hearing, tracking every vote (or lack thereof), and telling you which lawmakers are playing party politics instead of performing their duties.

But we need your help to keep going.

The Austin sewer would love nothing more than for you to be distracted … discouraged … or in the dark.

We refuse to let that happen.
