In January 2025, Mark Zuckerberg took to a slick 5-minute video, promising a return to free expression on Facebook and its platforms.
No more silencing voices through fact-checkers. Users will once again enjoy unmoderated political content in their feeds.
It sounded bold. It sounded like Facebook might finally trust its users.
That was January.
This week, our organization, Christian Action Network, created a Facebook event for the September 25 premiere of *Stolen Rainbow*—a fearless documentary exposing the LGBT movement’s transformation from a marginalized group to a powerhouse political lobby.
Through four pivotal moments—Stonewall, the Rainbow Flag, the AIDS crisis, and taxpayer-funded expansion—we tell a story the establishment doesn’t want told.
Our premiere is set for the Republican Capitol Hill Club in Washington, D.C., and we sent out 500 Facebook invites to our supporters. And the goal was to send thousands more to our 26,000-strong community.
But here’s the reality:
For four days, anyone trying to view our event page gets hit with a “technical error” wall. No explanation. No resolution. Just a digital blackout. This isn’t a glitch—it’s censorship, plain and simple.
Why?
Because *Stolen Rainbow* dares to challenge the approved narrative. Because “Christian Action Network” is in the credits. Because Zuckerberg’s “free expression” promise apparently has a limit: it stops where Facebook’s biases begin.
This isn’t just about suppressing a film. It’s a calculated move to keep our premieres’ seats empty, to choke off discussion before it starts. A multi-billion-dollar tech empire flexing its muscle to block 500 people from even seeing an invitation.
Zuckerberg swore he’d champion free speech. Instead, he delivered the same old censorship with a fresh coat of PR, calling blatant suppression a “technical error.”
Genius, right? It’s not censorship. It’s not blocking. It’s not shadow-banning. It’s just an “oops moment” conveniently timed to last past our September 25 premiere.
Apparently, the man building a SuperIntelligent AI lacks the tech wizards to fix a simple event page. Why? Because he’s betting you’re too naive to see through his flimsy excuse.
When a platform can vanish a lawful, public event without accountability, it’s not just our film at stake—it’s the very idea of free expression in the digital age.
