Hello —
I am about to ask you to make a donation to my campaign for the United States Senate. But first, I just have to share the good news...I’m a grandmother!
This month, our family welcomed Ari Michael Smith (a bundle of pure joy!) into this world. Looking at his eyes and his cute little nose, I can’t help but think of how we got here.
My first job in Minnesota was at General Mills. My husband Archie and I moved to St. Louis Park, had two children, and found our life here.
All of this to say, with everything that’s going on and all of the life changes we have had over the past few weeks and months, I’m reminded of why I decided to go into public service in the first place.
I didn’t run for public office for fame, money, or power. I ran because I wanted to ensure a better future for my kids (and grandkids!) and make a difference in people’s lives. And folks just like you supported me because they wanted to make a difference, too.
I've spent so much of my life fighting for the people of Minnesota and folks across the country, but I have so much work left to do. So, here’s the part where I ask for your help:
Will you add a donation to support my campaign for U.S. Senate before the FEC deadline? I need your help to keep our team on track for our ambitious goal of 25,000 grassroots donors. Your contribution today would mean the world to me.
If you've saved your payment information with ActBlue Express, your donation will go through immediately:
Your support makes an incredible difference for our campaign and my work for the people of Minnesota. Every penny you give allows me to continue fighting for our values in Washington — and if we're successful, I'll get the chance to continue our important work.
I'm very fortunate to have supporters like you I can count on. I can’t even begin to tell you how grateful I am that you're a part of this. But please, only give if you can afford to do so.
Thank you.
