Our Flying Eye Hospital project in Rwanda has wrapped—and it was a huge success thanks to you!
From simulation training to hands-on surgeries, your generosity helped local teams hone their skills alongside our expert Volunteer Faculty to restore sight and gain confidence that will shape eye care in Rwanda for years to come.
Dr. Ciku Mathenge, Medical Advisor for Orbis in Africa, shared: “For my students, this is a life-changing experience. Many of them have never been on a plane, but to be on a plane where you're learning ophthalmology from world experts, they have expressed that this was such a great two weeks.”
