When dozens of Texas Democrats skipped town to block a fair redistricting vote, Cornyn had one clear message: No one is above the law.

He demanded FBI Director Kash Patel track them down — and got results.

Senator Cornyn sent a letter to U.S. Attorney General Pam Bondi calling for a full DOJ probe into PACs tied to Beto O’Rourke and George Soros that bankrolled the Democrats’ getaway.

These PACs — Powered by People and the Soros-linked Texas Majority PAC — reportedly paid for airfare, luxury lodging, and even $500-a-day fines so lawmakers could stay in New York and Illinois instead of doing their jobs. That’s not “activism.” Cornyn says it may be bribery, corruption, even federal crimes like honest services fraud, Hobbs Act extortion, and Travel Act violations.

Here’s the truth:

✅ They fled to blue states instead of debating and voting

✅ They solicited — and accepted — special interest cash to keep skipping work

✅ Texans were left without a voice in the process

✅ Flood victims were denied urgent relief because of their stunt
