As the President of EMILY's List, I'm dedicated to electing strong pro-choice Democratic women to office -- and Hiral is the champion we need in Congress. Her background as a doctor gives her a unique insight into the health care struggles that so many families face, and we can count on her to always fight for them.

Hiral has an incredible shot at beating Republican Congressman David Schweikert, who's voted in favor of his special interest donors and against his constituents' health care at every turn. But she needs to have a strong finish before the June 30 FEC deadline, because GOP groups are watching this race closely.

Hiral is an inspiring example of the American Dream -- an immigrant who came to the United States from India when she was three years old, and who went on to practice medicine as an emergency room physician and work as a cancer research advocate.

Hiral is running to give Arizonans the same incredible opportunities she had, from access to health care, quality public education, and an economy that allows everyone a fair shot to succeed. And she wants to continue to fight for women and girls and set an example of what women in leadership can do -- whether it's in medicine, science, or government.

We need Hiral's voice in Congress, but she faces an extremely uphill battle if David Schweikert's right-wing allies can outspend her. That's why the June 30 FEC deadline matters so much.
