In 2017, I watched Donald Trump attack every value that I had spent my life fighting for. And as I thought about it, I realized I couldn’t ask someone to do my fighting for me – that if I wanted to defend the country I love then I had to run toward the crisis.

So I ran for Congress. It was a long shot to run as a political outsider in a district that had been held by Republicans for more than three decades. But thanks to the help of a strong grassroots coalition, I won my race.

In 2025, I’m watching the same thing happen — Donald Trump and his lackeys in Congress are destroying Medicaid, raising prices on working families, and attacking democracy as we know it. I knew that I had to fight back for New Jersey.

That’s why I’m running for governor. By winning this seat, we can make New Jersey more affordable for families, promote clean, cheap energy in the Garden State, and defend our state and our country from the disastrous policies of the current administration. But I can’t do it without your help.

I’m setting out to show National Republicans that elections have consequences — and if Jack Ciattarelli and other MAGA allies in New Jersey and in Washington think I will stand idly by while they attack our state, then they are SORELY mistaken. And with another mid-month fundraising deadline tomorrow at midnight, I’d really appreciate it if you chipped in what you can to help us win this election.
