MoveOn volunteers are gearing up to write and mail these postcards out in droves. We need to make sure that voters—particularly young people—are registered to vote, so that in 2026, we can defeat Republicans who have ripped away health care and food assistance from their own constituents.

Why are so many volunteers—everyday Americans, including parents, teachers, nurses, college students, and retirees—ready to pour their hearts into handwritten postcards? Because Donald Trump and his cronies in Congress voted to:
Take away health care from 17 million people
Slash funding for hospitals, which will cause hospital closures and reduce needed medical care
Cut assistance for millions of children and seniors who rely on SNAP (Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program) benefits to get nutritious food
What Trump and the Republicans did is outrageous and cruel. And MoveOn's postcard campaign is our hands-on, direct, people-powered way to fight back.
By mailing voters in flippable districts postcards from MoveOn volunteers, we're making sure that they know that their Republican representative voted for these awful cuts before they cast their ballot in the 2026 midterms.
We know that this approach works. Published academic research from the University of Maryland's Center for Democracy & Civic Engagement shows that volunteer-written postcards can turn out tens of thousands of voters who would have otherwise stayed home.1
And MoveOn has a long track record of highly effective election efforts that move the needle. Most recently, in the 2018 midterms, MoveOn members organized to win 40 seats in the House of Representatives, gaining a Democratic majority in the chamber and ending unified Republican control of Congress.
As former Labor Secretary Robert Reich says, "No organization in America has a better track record of success at using cutting-edge strategies to reach infrequent voters who are on our side than MoveOn."
MoveOn volunteers are ready to start writing the postcards. But we need your help to print and distribute these postcards to volunteers, pay for postage and volunteer training, secure precise voter lists, and more. Will you start a $5 monthly donation to help flip the House?

The more we're able to raise, the more postcards can be sent to voters in crucial districts. And the more voters we reach, the more seats we can flip. If we can flip just four seats—one of the narrowest margins in history—we'll take back control of the House of Representatives (although we'll aim to flip far more!).
This is absolutely achievable if enough MoveOn members pitch in.
