When President Trump took office in 2017, Scott Brown was our second diplomat
out the door, right behind our Ambassador to Israel, on the front lines of
President Trump’s“Peace through Strength” offensive.

President Trump sent him to the Indo-Pacific, where he spent two and a half
years pushing back against China’s aggression in the region, and I saw Scott
Brown fight EVERY. SINGLE. DAY. against China and for American exceptionalism.

President Trump and I trusted Scott to carry out the foreign policy of the
administration. He represented America with resolve every single day until his
last day of service under President Trump’s leadership.
