Today officially rings in 90 years since Social Security was enacted.

And in all that time – despite war, pandemics, and presidential shifts in power – Social Security has never missed a single payment.

It has provided critical funds for children, seniors, and vulnerable populations to be able to pay for food, medicine, and it has provided Americans a chance to retire with dignity.

Now, under Trump’s leadership this lifeline for millions of Americans is under threat.

In an effort to accelerate policies that will give millions in tax giveaways to billionaires, his administration has made cuts including the largest cut to Medicaid in modern history this past June.

And Social Security is on the chopping block next.

But not if we work together to prevent MAGA Republicans from ending it through loopholes like backdoor privatization.
