Friend, fresh off our victory in the primary, we got some excellent news yesterday:

A new poll placed Dana ahead of Republican John Katko, 48 percent to 45 percent.

Poll: Dana Balter (D) 48%, John Katko (R) 45%

Will you donate to help us keep the lead? These numbers will force John Katko and his deep-pocketed allies to begin spending heavily, and to get our message out against them we need 187 more donations by Tuesday's end-of-quarter deadline.

Democratic primary turnout in NY-24 surged over 2018. And with Dana already having an edge over John Katko in initial polling, it's more clear than ever that we have the momentum needed to flip this swing district from red to blue.

But John Katko's current financial advantage gives him an opportunity to swing the race -- and if his strategy in 2018 is any indication, he will try to overwhelm us with ads. We're counting on grassroots supporters like you to ensure that we have the resources to counter his attacks every step of the way.

Tuesday's public fundraising deadline is our first chance of the general election to demonstrate just how strong we are. So please chip in to get us to our goal!
