The brutal $200 million budget cuts to SNAP passed in Trump’s Big Awful Bill has put millions of children and families in a direct path to hunger and food insecurity. 40 million Americans rely on SNAP for food, with nearly half of them being children — and it is nothing short of abject cruelty to yank that life-saving food assistance away from them.
