John, it's Jonathan, the Deputy Executive Director of the Kansas Dems, and Election Day 2026 will be here before we know it. We need to make sure we turn out as many voters as possible this election cycle because there's so much at stake next year.

Extreme Republicans are announcing their campaigns to flip the Governor's mansion and maintain an iron grip on the State Legislature, while the Republican Congressional delegation continues their out of touch agenda that is already hurting Kansans across the state.

John, to stand up for working Kansans, protect public education, and increase access to affordable housing and quality healthcare, we need to 1️⃣ protect the Governor's mansion, 2️⃣ defend our lone Congressional seat, 3️⃣ flip a U.S. Senate seat, and 4️⃣ break the supermajority in BOTH legislative chambers.

That's a tall order, but that's why we're starting early and intentionally—establishing county parties, recruiting Democratic candidates who are already involved in their communities, and training our teams to message on the issues that bring folks out to the polls.
