| | How are NASN Position Statements Developed? | |
When a school nurse has a practice or policy question, there are many resources they can turn to for answers. NASN Position Statements are documents stating the position or stance of NASN regarding a child health, school health, or school nursing issue. The NASN School Nurse article The Anatomy of a Position Statement reviews the process NASN uses to create and revise position statements, as well as describes its components.
NASN members get complimentary access to NASN School Nurse and The Journal of School Nursing — for the latest research, insights, and strategies to advance student health and school nursing practice.
