The Assembly is our monthly national online gathering where the WFP family joins together to build community, and re-commit ourselves to the movement.
Working Families Party

John,

Coming on the heels of his historic upset victory this week, this Sunday, June 28th, we’re excited to have Jamaal Bowman join us on the WFP Assembly — our monthly virtual gathering where we connect and build community.

We endorsed Jamaal early on in his campaign because we knew there was a real hunger for progressive change in the Bronx and Westchester. We threw everything we had into this race, and now we’re excited to learn how he brought home the win, and how we can replicate this success for progressive candidates across the country!

RSVP to join us tomorrow on the WFP Assembly at 8pm ET/5pm PT and learn more about how Jamaal defied expectations and defeated a 31-year incumbent in Congress. All you need to join this Zoom gathering is a phone or a computer.

In addition to Jamaal, we will also hear from Jessica Byrd, founder of Three Point Strategies and a leader of the electoral justice project at the Movement for Black Lives to talk about the recent uprisings in the aftermath of the murder of George Floyd and last week’s Juneteenth actions that took place across the country.

On this month’s Assembly we will join together with renewed hope to envision the best case scenario of what our country could look like, and we want you, John, to be a part of that discussion!

RSVP to join us for the WFP Assembly tomorrow, Sunday, June 28th at 8pmET/5pmPT to hear from Jamaal Bowman and Jessica Byrd, and let’s build that future together!

In solidarity,

All of us at the Working Families Party
