Renovation leads to Master Angler Trout
It's been almost two years since renovation efforts at Lake Ogallala, and recent catches show the lake's trout have benefitted from the efforts. Creel surveys indicate the lake and it's associated waters are producing lots of trout - including several recent Master Angler rainbow trout in the past six weeks. This cold-water fishery features ideal conditions for trout, as well as excellent opportunities for anglers. Take this as a sign that it's time to set up fish camp at Lake Ogallala State Recreation Area and start working on your Trout Slam.
