Final Approval Hearing for the E1 Plan Scheduled for Next Wednesday Peace Now is functioning as the eyes of the world tracking developments in West Bank settlements, including the effort to develop the E1 Plan. Yesterday, the Subcommittee for Objections of the Higher Planning Council published the protocol from its hearing on the objections to the E1 plans; a meeting that was held on June 8th. The subcommittee decided to reject all objections and recommend that the Higher Planning Council approve the plans. Developing the E1 Plan would make it nearly impossible to create a contiguous Palestinian state in the West Bank. Read more on Peace Now's website. |
