 "This year marks my third year walking in the Walk to End Alzheimer's in Chicago. I'm walking to honor my Opa, who has played and continues to play a significant role in my life.
Opa has taught me so much, and even though we live many miles apart now, fundraising for Walk feels like one way to honor him. Sadly, Opa is in the advanced stages of Alzheimer's, but I deeply cherish the moments I get to spend with him. We still share sweet treats and coffee, even though the way we communicate has changed.
