The house is on fire. The Senate is in shambles. Trump and his extremist allies are doing everything in their power to annihilate what little progress we’ve made.
Rolling back civil rights. Silencing dissent. Gutting social programs. Funding police while cutting our healthcare.
As for us? We refuse to stand by. We organize. We build. We fight back.
Like Chris Smalls, the labor organizer who led the historic Amazon union drive, who was reportedly beaten and arrested by Israeli forces while delivering humanitarian aid to Gaza as part of the Freedom Flotilla.
Like the dozens of activists on those boats, who risked everything to bring food, medicine, and solidarity to people under siege.
That’s what real solidarity looks like. And that’s what our series Action August is about: spotlighting the leaders, the organizers, politivists, cultural workers, and freedom fighters who are putting it all on the line for others.
This month, Movement for Freedom is uplifting the politivists and activists who are out here getting it done. Folks who are challenging power, building community, and refusing to give in. And we need your input.
