Let’s be honest: There’s too much big money in politics, there always has been. As Franklin Roosevelt said in 1936, “We know now that government by organized money is just as dangerous as government by organized mob.” We can no longer afford to have government actors beholden to big money.

But my opponent, Kathy Hochul? Her campaign is powered by corporate PACs and the New York political machine.

My campaign is different. I want to represent you. Instead of relying on corporate PAC checks, my team is counting on small donations from real New Yorkers from all backgrounds who give when they can.

And yes, a bulk of those donations come from emails like this one. I am proud of it. I am building a campaign funded by the people, and I am accountable to the people.
