We're excited to announce the eighth annual Rising Star Awards will take place in Washington, D.C., on November 18, 2025.

This year's three awards will celebrate innovative, cross-partisan leadership:
* The Rising Star Award - Recognizes a Gen Z or millennial state legislator whose cross-partisan collaboration has led to measurable impact on a state-level challenge, whether through policy, public engagement, or civic renewal.


* The Cherisse Eatmon Collective Impact Award - Honors a partnership of two or more politically diverse young state legislators who have built consensus on a challenging public issue, ideally resulting in meaningful legislation.


* The Jacob K. Javits Prize for Bipartisan Leadership - Awarded to Members of Congress who have bridged partisan divides on urgent national issues, resulting in legislative achievements that advance the public interest.


These honorees are not content to succeed within the status quo. They forge creative relationships, deliver real results today, and model an approach to governance that can strengthen our democratic institutions for the future.
