Patriot,
“Conservatives don’t care about the environment.”
That’s what my liberal friend told me when I co-founded the American
Conservation Coalition.
It’s funny how this misperception has taken hold.
Because here’s the truth…
Conservationists are overwhelmingly hunters and fishermen. The people in
rural parts of our country are mostly conservative. The best environmental
stewards I know are conservative.
So why does this misperception, this outright LIE, exist?
ONE: The liberal mainstream media has lied to the public for decades, and
people have bought into it.
TWO: For the last few decades, the environmental movement has been hijacked by
radical left-wing activists who put ideology over true conservationism. Instead
of focusing on stewardship of our natural resources, they embraced
anti-humanist, anti-capitalist, and alarmist ideas.
For too long, radical activists have used the environment as a means to their
radical ends of socialism.
What if conservatives took back the environmental cause?
What if we built the largest environmental movement without a radical
ideology?
What if we believed economic and environmental success go hand-in-hand?
We can.
If you care deeply and passionately about stewarding our land and building a
conservative environmental movement, then I am personally asking you to invest
in our movement right now.

ACC’s mission is to build the conservative environmental movement. We have
over 80,000 members.
And I am personally inviting you to join the team.
Passion for conservation comes from patriotism.
The United States is the most beautiful country. From the Smoky Mountains to
the Pacific beaches, from Lake Michigan to the Gulf of America, we have
boundless natural beauty and resources.
We can be energy independent and protect our lands.
We can be the top economic powerhouse and enjoy the most beautiful National
Parks.
We can leave a legacy for future generations.
But if I’m being honest, I sometimes wonder why the misperception of
conservatives still exists.
And here’s my answer.
Because we haven’t built a big enough movement to rival the Sierra Club and
other organizations that have, historically, dominated the environmental debate.
That time is over.
Please support American Conservation Coalition today by donating $10, $35,
$50, $100, $250, or ANY amount you can generously spare.
