To make matters worse, Republicans are chipping away at any economic security that working and middle-class families have historically counted on.
They cut over $1.1 trillion in Medicaid and SNAP, stripping away health insurance and food assistance from millions of Americans. On top of that, Trump’s “big, beautiful bill” will add trillions of dollars to our nation’s debt, making our children and grandchildren foot the bill—all to pay for another tax giveaway to the ultra-wealthy and corporations.
Dave Young had the foresight months ago, warning us that Trump’s economic policies would create chaos and confusion, making it increasingly difficult to safeguard the state’s cash flow and invest public funds responsibly, weakening Colorado’s economy. Well, they’ve done just that.
The math is simple: Trumpenomics and Republican policies are hurting the people of Colorado’s Eighth Congressional District.
