Today marks 90 years since FDR signed the Social Security Act into law, and thanks to Governor Beshear, today is officially Social Security Day in Kentucky.
We know times are uncertain right now. Republicans' chaotic policies are ripping away programs that help working families who need them most. They're pushing schemes to gut Social Security and break promises to our seniors.
But we won't stop fighting.
Kentucky Democrats will always defend Social Security and the programs that matter to working families. We'll keep standing strong against Republican attacks on the safety net Kentuckians depend on.
