According to NPR, California senator and former presidential candidate Kamala Harris is seen as “the consensus front-runner to become Democrats' vice presidential nominee.” Sen. Harris demonstrated her strength on the debate stage, including by sparring with the candidate who has now clinched the spot at the top of the ticket. Reports show that Biden and Harris have had several conversations -- and campaign advisors close to the former vice president have made the case that Harris is Biden’s best choice.
